Death, destruction & transformation :)

If you've seen my making videos, then you will know I like a bit of a dabble with 'the cards'. In particular Tarot.
Like every committed tarot reader, I have built up my own understanding and meanings for the cards over the years. The standard meanings are a basis, but every reader builds their own flow over the years, taking into account their own experiences and perspectives on life (that's why you have to choose your card reader carefully ;)
Me? I love a bit of change so I treat the, often feared, cards of Death and The Tower as heralds of change. Change can be enormously upsetting and disruptive, but it can also lead to new experiences, growth and transformation. As Buddha might have once said: there is no good news, no bad news, only news. It's your interpretation of the facts that is important and, even MORE important: You. Can. Choose. Your. Interpretation. You can choose to be different, have different thoughts, reactions to challenges, responses to situations. In fact, having awareness that there is a choice is pretty much half the battle.
I say all this as I left my beloved school yesterday so I won't be teaching there in September, when the next school year starts. Yin/Yang: I love that school/it's time to move on ...
